I decided to purchase my Kindle after a local radio announcer kept banging on about how good his was and also the fact I was having trouble reading those big, cumbersome hardbacks in bed which constantly fell out of my hands as I nodded off and I’d lose my page.

I have to say, buying my Kindle is the best thing I’ve ever done. I can now read in bed one handed while drinking a nice Shiraz with the other, (the real reason I would nod off). The ease of use of the Kindle coupled with the convenience of choosing and downloading books on the G3 network is also another big plus and the array of books to choose from is staggering. Even my wife is impressed for a technophobe and I have ordered one for her upcoming birthday although a little put out that she will get the latest 3rd generation model.
